MSME Registration Services

The Micro; Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act was notified in 2006 to address policy issues affecting MSMEs as well as the coverage and investment ceiling of the sector. The Act seeks to facilitate the development of MSME enterprises as also enhance their competitiveness. It provides the first-ever legal framework for recognition of the concept of “enterprise” which comprises both manufacturing and service entities. It defines medium enterprises for the first time and seeks to integrate the three tiers of these enterprises, namely, micro, small and medium. The Act also provides for a statutory consultative mechanism at the national level with balanced representation of all sections of stakeholders, particularly the three classes of enterprises; and with a wide range of advisory functions. Establishment of specific funds for the  

promotion, development and enhancing competitiveness of these enterprises, notification of schemes/programmes for this purpose, progressive credit policies and practices, preference in Government procurements to products and services of the micro and small enterprises, more effective mechanisms for mitigating the problems of delayed payments to micro and small enterprises and assurance of a scheme for easing the closure of business by these enterprises are some of the other features of the Act.

Udyam Registration, earlier called as Udyog Aadhar Registration, is an easy process for all units which are eligible to get covered under the new definition of MSME’s provided by the GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.

Every Startup and MSME Unit can become eligible for benefits of the various schemes launched by Government by getting themselves registered via the Udyam Registration

Information required for MSME Registration

  1. Aadhaar Number : The Aadhaar number shall be of the proprietor in the case of a proprietorship firm, of the managing partner in the case of a partnership firm or director in case of company.

  2. Social Category :  Social Category of applicant from the given options.
  3. Type of Organization : Type of organization from the given options which will get printed on MSME Certificate.
    PAN: Fill 10 Digit PAN Number Business PAN Number (In case of proprietorship owner’s PAN number)
  4. Name of Enterprise / Business : Fill the name of Business / Enterprise which will get printed on MSME Certificate.

    Note: Detail’s in Name of Enterprise/Business will be verified & picked up by system from the GSTIN portal on the basis of given PAN No. If you are not having PAN then will be filled manually by you.
  5. Have you filled Financial Year (2018-19) ITR? If you filled ITR select yes otherwise no
  6. ITR Type  : Select ITR type if you filled ITR)
  7. Do you have GSTIN Number? If you have GSTIN number then select yes otherwise no

    Note- GSTIN Number are mandatory for Udyam Registration from 01.04.2021. You are advised to apply for GSTIN Number immediately and update the same on this website by 31.03.2021, to avoid suspension of Udyam Registration.
  8.  Location of Plant : The location address will be required 
    Note: Details in Location of Plant (Address) will be verified & picked up by system from the GSTIN portal on the basis of given PAN No. If you are not having PAN then will be filled manually by you.
  9. Office Address :
  10. Date of Incorporation / Registration : Date of Incorporation / Registration of Business which will get printed on MSME Certificate.
  11. Mobile No :  Mobile Number of Applicant
  12. Mail ID : EMail ID of Applicant
  13. Whether Production/Business Commenced : Select Production/Business Commenced or not
  14. Date of Commencement of Business : Date of Commencement of Business which will get printed on MSME Certificate.
  15. Bank Account Number :  Applicant’s bank account number.
  16. Bank IFSC Code : Fill the Applicant Bank IFSC Code. The IFSC code is printed on the Cheque Books.
  17. Main Business Activity of Enterprise : Select the Main Business activity from the given options.
  18. NIC 2 Digit Code : Select the 2 Digit NIC Code from the given options considering your business activity.
  19. Additional details about Business :  Additional details about business. (For example – manufacturing of Food Products, Computer programing, Software development)
  20. Number of employees : Fill total number of people been employed.
  21. Investment in Plant & Machinery / Equipment : Fill the total investment made in Plant, Machinery, and Equipment etc. to start your business.
  22. Turnover Detail’s : Fill the total Turnover of your business.
